Last week I spent with my wife some days near the historic village of Murten. Our hotel was situated in a hamlet named Munchenwiler. It’s a modernized ancient castle, very stylish… 🙂

The historic site of Murten itself is very nice and photogenic. You can walk on the the old original city wall where you have an impressive view on the roof tops of the village on one side and the landscape on the other side.

One evening we had a little walk alongside the Lake of Murten, a very pittoresque place. It’s nearly impossible to take pictures without a swan in the frame.
